New retail development to come to Lancaster
A new Sprouts Farmers Market soon be in Lancaster as part of a new destination for food and convenience items at the corner of 15th Street West and Avenue K.
The corner will include new dining, shopping, and service options that city officials hope will become a hub of activity for residents of the city, and a modern corner plaza. Plans for the corner include Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Dutch Bros, Quick Quack Car Wash, and the first Chick-fil-A in the city. Local print shops can get involved in such developments by printing flyers and other information about retailers, their offerings, and hours.
Raider Hill Advisors is collaborating with the city on the development of this shopping center.
R. Rex Parris, mayor of Lancaster, said the city deserves the best and expressed his excitement about welcoming such businesses as Sprouts Farmers Market to the city. He added that it is expected that many new job opportunities will be an outcome of these desired retailers and eateries, which will also increase the enthusiasm of the residents to remain in the city for their shopping.
Sprouts Farmers Market will be moving into what was once a Toys “R” Us retail store before it closed in June 2018. Development of the property is underway.
The first tenants of the corner plaza will be opening later this year. Sprouts is expected to open early next year.
