Haunt at the Hangar will be returning to the city of Lancaster at the Lancaster Municipal Stadium next month.
This is a family-friendly event that will entertain people of all ages from those looking for some not so spooky fun to those wanting a more terrifying thrill. It will feature photo opportunities, trick or treating, and a costume contest as attendees are encouraged to dress for the occasion. There will also be a petting zoo, giant pumpkin carving, pumpkin decorating, a Halloween movie, and many treats of the holiday including candy apples, apple cider, kettle corn, candy corn, and much more. There will be a maze at the entrance after which patrons can select either a more family-friendly experience or proceed through a terrifying labyrinth of horrors.
Poster printing is usually called upon when events like this come around as they tend to be immensely popular in a community.
Sponsors of the event include the Antelope Valley Transportation Authority, Valleywide Dental, Toyota of Lancaster, and High Desert Medical Group. Admission to the event is free although certain vendors, activities, and attractions may require a charge.
Mayor Rex R. Perris expressed his excitement about being able to bring this event back to the community. He added that such events enable people to come together and celebrate with others in the community.
Haunt at the Hangar will take place from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday October 22.
