Barry White, who owns Lancaster Carpeteria, recently announced that he is celebrating his 15th year of being in business. The store offers top-of-the-line name-brand rugs and carpets, as well as hardwood flooring, laminate, stone, tile, and vinyl.
According to White, it has been a privilege to serve Lancaster’s community. The company has achieved many milestones as it has doubled its sales from the previous year and now recycles 100% of its padding and carpets, making it the leader in the area for going green.
Jack Van Boheemen joined White and 15 years ago and started the business with a loan of $30,000 from his mother. In 2001, they opened Lancaster Carpeteria and had sales of $1,000,000 in the first year.
White and Van Boheemen feel that the community helped them to such an extent that they regularly attend local fundraising projects. They typically donate money and also provide flooring for auctions.
A few years ago, White and Van Boheemen acquired a store in Santa Clarita called Elite Flooring, which they renamed Santa Clarita Flooring. In 2014, Larry, White’s twin brother, joined the store and became a co-owner with Barry and Van Boheemen. Sales have since doubled and Larry’s wife works in the store assisting customers.
The two brothers and Van Boheemen may want to turn to banner printing for a piece announcing their accomplishment.
