DryTown Water Park in Palmdale will be re-opening for the 2021 season later this month. Residents of Lancaster will want to visit the only water park in Antelope Valley.
Timothy Miller, supervisor of DryTown, expressed his excitement about welcoming the public back to the park. He added that although it will be a phased re-opening, the park looks in good shape and there are many new and innovative ways to create special memories.
Visitors to the park will be required to purchase in advance through an online ticketing system. Initial capacity will be limited to 400 people at a time. Such parks often turn to printing services to create materials that guests can reference to keep abreast of park regulations.
DryTown Water Park was once an Old West mining town and is now a themed aquatic park. It spans six acres and features a water playground for children that is 6,000 square feet in area, with spray features, a racer slide with four lanes, a lazy river spanning 925 feet long, and waterslide tower 35 feet high with a splashdown pool. There is also a General Store with souvenirs, Dusty’s Grill, a large grassy area, and a covered picnic area.
The park will be opening in time for Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 29. There will be Preview Days for season pass holders on Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28.
