An upcoming concert in Laguna Hills will highlight the music of one of rock music’s iconic bands.
Rock dance band, Creedence and Company, is Orange County-based and appears in venues throughout the area. They usually begin their shows with a Creedence Clearwater Revival set, and then go on to mix it up with genres from R&B to Motown to classic rock. In addition to CCR, audiences can expect to hear artists such as Santana, Chicago, The Temptations, the Beatles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Rolling Stones, and many others.
Creedence and Company pays tribute to one of the most influential bands in music. The original Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) formed in El Cerrito, California, in the late 1960s. The “swamp rock” outfit was known as the Blue Velvets, then as the Golliwogs, until becoming CCR in 1967. Between 1968 and 1972, CCR dropped eight albums that went gold, and put nine singles into the Top Ten. Their hits include classics like “Bad Moon Rising” and “Born on the Bayou.“ In 1993, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Creedence and Company will be at Neighbors Bar & Grille in Laguna Hills on June 13, beginning at 8.00 pm. Shows like this can benefit from flyer printing, which organizers can use to create handouts to use in local area advertising.
