Laguna Hills is getting ready to celebrate for an entire month.
The city kicks off the excitement with the official tree lighting ceremony. This start to the festive month includes carolers, festive lighting, crafts, refreshments, and a visit by Santa Claus himself. In addition, the parking lot will be covered with snow to become a frosty playground.
Next up is an event that will give parents a chance to get their shopping done. Parents will be able to drop their children off at the Community Center, where staff from Community Services will watch them. The “babysitting” is for children ages 6-14, and the cost is $5 per child. Dinner will be served, and pre-registration is necessary.
The next day brings breakfast with the man himself. People attending will be able to take pictures with Santa, do crafts, and enjoy a pancake breakfast. The fee is $10 per person, although children under two are free. Pre-registration to this is also necessary.
That evening brings the Holiday Dance & Music Extravaganza, featuring dance music and performances by local artists.
The tree lighting is December 6 from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm, and Parent’s Night Out is December 13, from 6.00 pm until 8.30 pm. Breakfast with Santa is December 14, from 9.00 am until 11.00 am. Finally, the Holiday Dance & Music Extravaganza is also December 14, from 7.00 pm until 9.00 pm. When planners organize a series of events like this, they may use flyer printing to create handouts for local distribution.
