Miguel's Jr., a popular fast-food restaurant chain in Southern California, recently announced that guests can enjoy their legendary Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito, in combination with any fountain drink of regular size, for a reduced price, for a limited time.
Miguel's makes their signature burrito with refried beans, which they slow cook, then wrap in a burrito along with cheddar cheese and Spanish rice. Patrons who would like to pay slightly more can enjoy a “wet” burrito, which takes the basic three-ingredient treat and tops it with more shredded cheese along with enchilada sauce. Companies running promotions like this could also distribute Promotional Products to enhance brand awareness.
The recipe was developed by Mary Vasquez, who founded the chain in 1975 in Corona, California, based on memories of her Central Mexico childhood. The restaurants offer fast food, but they use premium ingredients in recipes that have been in the family for years. Miguel's Jr. has plans to expand beyond its current Orange County and Inland Empire locations to additional spots in Southern California. They hope to share their high standards of delicious Mexican food and great customer services with more communities soon.
The three-ingredient Mexican favorite is the signature dish of the restaurants, and the combo is available from January 16 until February 23 at restaurants throughout Southern California, including the Huntington Beach store on Beach Boulevard, for $3.49. The wet burrito combo is $3.99.
