The 4th of July Celebration is taking place over three days in Huntington Beach.
There are plenty of activities planned throughout the three-day festival that should interest the entire family.
The Pier Plaza Festival is set to feature plenty of family-friendly activities and live entertainment from groups such as School of Rock and Ragdoll. There will also be food and general merchandise vendors on hand.
Most of the activities will take place on July 4. The day will start off with a pancake breakfast at Lake Park presented by Kiwanis of Huntington Beach. It will be held from 6:00 – 10:00 AM and tickets are $5 each. The Surf City 5K and Fitness Expo will take place at Worthy Park from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
A parade will travel along the Pacific Coast Highway to Main Street from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bleacher seating is available for $15 in advance or $20 on the day. The Junior Grand Marshall will be Hadley Belle Miller and guests will include Tim Conway, Jr. For more information, call 714-536-5486.
The day will finish off with a fireworks display at 9:00 PM at the Huntington Beach Pier. VIP seating is available for $10.
Official merchandise will be available for purchase and it is likely that Huntington Beach printing companies have been asked to help design and create them.
