Huntington Beach will be showing its American pride this Fourth of July with a parade that will bring the community together in the spirit of fun.
The city will be welcoming what is billed as being the largest Independence Day festivities to be held west of the Mississippi River. The event was first held back in 1904 and has been on the grow ever since.
According to the function's online release, the planners expect that at least 500,000 people will be on hand for the parade, enjoying the bands, floats, and their entries. Prizes will be awarded to the businesses and not-for-profit groups in a variety of categories, and cars and other vehicles, bands, horses, professional and amateur floats, military members, and novelty acts such as stilt-walkers will all be in the mix. Many companies are expected to take advantage of this opportunity to market themselves by having their brand or Logo Design displayed on their entry.
The number of spectators at events like this makes them a valuable chance to do some marketing. Banners and other items to use during an activity will be available at area printers.
Huntington Beach will be marking 118 years of celebrating its community pride from July 1 to July 4. More information about the celebration, including timings and locations, can be found by checking the event’s website as they become available.
