Bowers Museum provides the public with an opportunity to learn about the area’s natural and human history, and it will be running a program that prepares new docents for their volunteer positions.
One of the museum's roles in the community is to host public tours and programming, and its docent program gives locals an opportunity to get directly involved. These volunteers will be working directly with guests to the venue, helping to make sure their visits to the site are educational and enjoyable.
During the session, the participants will learn more about this initiative, including what their responsibilities will be.
