The Light a Light of Love festival is taking place this December in Huntington Beach. It is a fundraising event for the CSP Huntington Beach Youth Shelter.
The afternoon event will start off with entertainment provided by a local band. This will be followed by a children's parade expected to feature various youth groups, classic cars, and Santa and Mrs. Claus riding on a fire engine. The parade begins at Orange and Main and travels to Pier Plaza.
After the parade, there will be children's entertainment at the Pier, along with the Taste of Main Street (where local restaurants and caterers showcase their food), and the Snowflake Lighting Ceremony.
For those who wish to donate money to the cause, sponsorships are available from $600 up to $15,000.
The Huntington Beach Youth Shelter provides emergency shelter and support to young homeless people between the ages of 11 and 17.
Some parade participants will likely be carrying Banners with their organization's name on them or hanging them over a car or a float. Huntington Beach banner printing companies are often asked to provide such items.
