The Nutcracker Suite, which was originally composed by Tchaikovsky , has become a popular holiday experience all over the world, and a kid-friendly version will soon be performed for Huntington Beach audiences.
Festival Ballet Theatre has created a narrated version of this well-loved suite of classical music that tells the story of how a little girl named Clara’s Nutcracker battles the Mouse King and takes her to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and other magical creatures. Tickets are $10 each, and parents or guardians can choose from four different start times.
To help make ballet more approachable for the younger set, it has a runtime of 45 minutes, and there will be bright and colorful costumes. Its listing explained that this offering has been designed to offer children a simple and fun introduction to the world of classical music and ballet, and all ages are welcome to enjoy the holiday-themed experience.
Adapting a ballet or play to be especially for kids offers children a chance to experience the excitement of a live performance. Souvenir programs and other printed keepsakes can be prepared for an event by a poster printing company.
Festival Ballet Theatre has made arrangements to host its adapted version of “The Nutcracker” on December 3 and 4 at 7111 Talbert Avenue. Passes for the ballet may be reserved now.
