Huntington Beach horses to host Hug and Groom

The horses who call the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center home will be getting some extra attention in early May.

The venue has invited members of the public to head to Huntington Beach and be part of its Hug and Groom, which will be running for two hours on an upcoming Sunday. All horses involved will be rescues and are experienced in participating in therapeutic sessions, and the proceeds will be used to help fund their care.

The ticketholders for the occasion will be spending time interacting with the horses, and a friendly mule may also be in the mix. Fruit and other snacks will be served after the horse visits.

For safety, it has been requested that everyone wear closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the activity.

Admission to this hands-on occasion is $25 per person, although guests who are aged two or under may enter free of charge. To help raise even more funds during this special occasion, the members of the public who come out will be invited to purchase an assortment of Corporate Gifts that have been printed with a unique ‘Hug and Groom’ graphic design.

The Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center has scheduled its next Hug and Groom day for Sunday, May 7. It will run from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
