The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting two events next month related to the environment and sustainability.
The first is the Green Forum. The theme is ‘Plug into the Future: Night of Energy’. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, musical entertainment, and a game show. There will also be several speakers and a raffle.
A couple of days later will be the Green Expo. It is set to feature over 50 exhibitors representing local businesses and community organizations related to the environment. There will also be food trucks, a family fun zone, and music. There will be several electric cars on display and a bike valet and fix-it station. Sponsorships are available for Chamber members ranging in price from $500 up to $2,500. Fees for exhibitors are $225 for members, $275 for nonmembers, and $100 for nonprofits. Exhibitors must supply their own tent.
Sponsors for the Green Expo will be listed on street Banners throughout Huntington Beach.
The Green Forum will be held at the Senior Center in Central Park on October 6 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Tickets are $30 each.
The Green Expo will take place at City Hall on October 8 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission is free of charge.
