Tomatoes have been cultivated in the Americas for centuries, and a Huntington Beach area sale will put them in the spotlight.
Roger’s Gardens in Corona Del Mar has scheduled Tomatomania for next month, and area gardeners will no doubt want to put their names forward. The venue’s subject matter experts have put together an extensive list of varieties and cultivars, some of which are likely to be typically difficult to source in the trade.
Attendees will be able to shop from more than 250 types of tomatoes, and both heirloom and hybrid types will be in the mix. There will be varieties on offer that are new for this year, and the Tomato of the Year will be introduced as well. Attendees can gather advice from the staff to help with their own growing projects.
