Zuul Labs' game developers, with the aid of a $250,000 Kickstarter campaign, plan to roll-out the new application, ‘Tall Tails’, in July.
In development since January, Tall Tails uses a puzzle format that features a rescue puppy journeying through a range of fairytales. The game will be compatible with both the Apple and Android platforms
Crash Reed, co-founder of Zuul Labs, noted:
"It became the credo of our company, which is to have fun, do good and play mobile. Everything we do is not just steered toward making a great game. Obviously, we want to make a great game, but we want our games to have some impact."
While the game is free for download, revenue will be derived through various in-game purchases that can be made. The company plans to use the revenue as a source of contributions to various dog rescue operations. Zuul Labs has a set $1m over the life of Tall Tails as the target goal for total donations to different pet and animal adoption efforts.
