Quilting is an art that combines form and functionality, and it will be used to create the centerpieces for an upcoming festival springing into the Huntington Beach area.
The Orange County Quilters Guild gives crafters of all levels of ability a chance to get to know others who also enjoy working with a needle and thread. Its “Quilts in the Garden” festival will showcase the talents of its membership and encourage the general public to take up the craft for themselves.
Visitors to the function will be invited to view the quilts on display, and food will be available to enjoy while they browse. There will be special baskets for sale as well as games, a garage sale area, and also crafter tables.
