The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting its yearly get-together next month.
The theme of this year's event is ‘Battle of the Bands’. Each table of guests will pick a band to represent and will dress to match their chosen artists, as well as decorate their tables.
The event will start off with a cocktail reception, which will be followed by dinner. There will be live entertainment, a silent auction, a wine wheel, and a photo booth. Guests can also compete in the costume and table decoration contests for prizes.
The evening will end up with dancing. To ensure that everyone knows how to dance, the chamber is offering ballroom dance lessons in the month leading up to the event. There will be four classes held on Friday nights: two in swing and two in the foxtrot. Fees are $20 for each class or $60 for all four. They will take place at Dance All You Can and are planned for January 23, January 30, February 13, and February 20, from 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm each night.
Sponsorships are available for $300 up to $5,000. Sponsors will be recognized at event signage, which will no doubt be provided by Huntington Beach printing companies.
The gala is taking place at the Waterfront Beach Resort on February 20 from 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Tickets are $100 and must be purchased by February 9.
