Author coming to Huntington Beach

Fans of police procedurals and mysteries have a chance to meet a popular author soon in Huntington Beach.

Lee Goldberg is a television producer and writer, and a New York Times #1 bestselling author. Fans and friends can meet and talk with him as he Signs Copies of his new book, “Lost Hills.”

Goldberg has co-written the “Fox and O'Hare” series with Janet Evanovich, herself a best-selling author, and has penned novels based on the “Monk” and “Diagnosis Murder” television series. He has also developed and produced a number of television shows in the US, the UK, Germany, and Canada, and has written several non-fiction Books about writing for film and television.

“Lost Hills” is the first of a new series of books with Deputy Eve Ronin of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as the protagonist. Ronin's big break comes when she arrests an abusive movie star while she is off duty. The sheriff, dealing with scandal after scandal in his department, makes Eve a homicide detective, the youngest ever in the history of the department. Now, she has to justify her promotion and win over resentful colleagues, all the while facing increasing pressure from the media and her department to solve a brutal murder.

The book signing is scheduled for January 11, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Mystery Ink on Warner Avenue. Flyer printing can be used to create informative handouts for attendees of events like this.
