Annual expo showcases environmentally friendly businesses

The Green Expo is returning to Huntington Beach next month. This annual event is hosted by the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The main emphasis of the expo is on businesses that are sustainable and produce environmentally friendly products.

There are expected to be more than 50 exhibitors at this year's event. Space is still available and fees are $225 for Chamber members, $275 for nonmembers and $100 for nonprofits, with all exhibitors receiving a 10x10-foot space, a table, and two chairs. Food trucks can also participate for $100. Sponsorships are available from $500 to $2,500, all of which come with exhibitor space.

For the public, there will be free giveaways from exhibitors, art displays, live entertainment, and music. There will also be electric cars and a Family Fun Zone. For those who are bike owners, Pedal Plaza offers a bike valet, a fix-it station, bicycle safety demonstrations, and gifts for the first 100 cyclists. For those looking to make their own contribution, there will be free shredding, a place to donate household items, and an electronics drop-off.

Huntington Beach printing companies often help advertise events like this by providing Flyers to be distributed in the community.

The Green Expo will be held at City Hall on September 26 from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Admission is free. For the latest information about this event, contact Phoenix Freeman at 714-536-8888.
