Visit Huntington Beach (VHB) has announced this month’s Historical Downtown Tour.
The tour, which will be led by their Visitor Experience Specialist, promises a 1.5-mile excursion of the Downtown area to learn about the history of Huntington Beach, California. The main aim of this event is to attract more tourists to the Huntington Beach area and help the residents know more about their city.
From the birth of the city to the origin of its name, this event promises history lovers a closer look into the official Surf City of the USA. Attendees will also visit key Historical landmarks such as the Huntington Beach Pier, learn about the 1920s oil boom, and re-live the last 100 years through interesting stories.
The event’s organizer, Visit Huntington Beach (VHB), is a 501(c)(6) non-profit, private organization and the official DMO (Destination Marketing Organization) for Huntington Beach. This non-profit consistently partners with many organizations, including hotels, local businesses like Print shops, and other organizations to improve tourism and stimulate the local economy.
This tour is scheduled for June 8th at 10.00 a.m. All attendees will meet at the Visit Huntington Beach Visitor Information Kiosk before the start of the tour. Tickets for the event are retiling at $10 per adult (over 13 years), while children below 12 years can attend for free.
