Lazy Dog was founded in 2003 around Huntington Beach, and is known for its from-scratch meals as well as the expertise of Gabriel Caliendo, Executive Chef. Caliendo’s menu features familiar tastes, like a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, to more globally-inspired temptations, such as the Ceviche Tostadas and Spicy Moroccan Chicken. Lazy Dog will serve both lunch and dinner each day, and will also offer specialty brunch dishes each weekend.
For diners who’d like a drink with dinner, Lazy Dog is renowned for its bar program. From unique cocktails to craft beers from local breweries, the bar offers a variety of approachable drinks.
The décor of the restaurants evokes the Rocky Mountain environment in which the first restaurant was founded. Features including cozy fireplaces, real ledge stone, and a color palate of rust and chocolate fills the spaces. Both the Dublin and the Cupertino restaurants will feature dog-friendly patios. Chris Simms, Lazy Dog CEO and founder, said:
“We were blown away by the warm reception we received from the East Bay community.
“Dublin and Cupertino both feel like natural fits for us, and we look forward to growing with these community-focused neighborhoods.”
