Summer will soon be here, and in Dublin, that means it’s time for people to grab their blankets and picnic baskets and head to Emerald Glen Park to catch a movie under the stars.
The community will be hosting an outdoor movie series throughout the moths of June, July and August. “Finding Dory”, “The Secret Life of Pets”, and “ET. The Extra Terrestrial” are all on the schedule for viewing in the fresh air, and all ages are welcome. The concession stand will be serving up food, beverages and more starting at 7:00 pm, and the picture will start once it gets dark, which is usually between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm.
The organizers of these community movie nights remind those who plan to attend to dress warmly, as it can get chilly once the sun goes down. They are also asked to leave any pets at home for the evening. A local Print company can be counted on to provide signage and other items for use during a function such as this.
The planners are accepting applications from both vendors and local businesses that would like to sponsor a popular event. They will take place on June 16, July 21, and August 18, and anyone who would like to find out more has been asked to contact 925-556-4500 for additional details.
