Golf tournament to be held for charity

Eric’s Corner will hold its annual golf tournament next month. Dublin residents are welcome to join as players or volunteers.

Eric’s Corner is a non-profit organization founded by Eric Nostrand in 2011. Nostrand was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2010, and he wanted to find a way to help those affected by the disorder. The golf tournament is one way the organization raises money for its cause, and proceeds will be used to further raise awareness and develop community resources.

The tournament will involve a lunch and a post-tournament dinner at SideTrack Bar+Grill. Entrants are encouraged to dress in comfortable attire, but no denim is allowed at the location. Awards will also be given out during the post-game dinner. Attendees are warned the event schedule and activities could change to accommodate pandemic guidelines.

Eric’s Corner is also holding a raffle and tee bag for the tournament. Entrants who participate will have a chance to win Promotional Products and other prizes at the event. Sponsors for the tee bag and raffle will also be recognized by the organizers.

The event is set to take place on May 10, and registration begins at 10:30 AM. The lunch and tournaments will then start at 11:00 AM. Registration for each golfer is $200, and the tournament will take place at the Castlewood Country Club.
