On Friday, June 1, a new Tots and Tykes Music Program for Young Children will begin at the Inspired Academy of Music and Arts located at 2340 Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton, which is located just outside Dublin, California. These weekly classes run from 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm.
This program is for children between the ages of three and five years old and will enable them to experience music by playing instruments to learn rhythm, theory, and intonation in a warm and fun environment. Classes are based on the whole family and are aimed at introducing young children to a playful and creative atmosphere. Rhythm is discovered through bouncing and wiggling to the music. Children will learn solfeggio and scales through simple, memorable songs. These straightforward hands-on classes allow a child’s imagination to run wild. Many lessons are also taught using kid-friendly games and activities. Parents and other children are also welcome to attend and enjoy the lessons.
Inspire Academy of Music and Arts owner Tamriko Siprashvili is an award-winning, internationally recognized concert pianist. She has a passion for music and arts and enjoys working with children of all ages. The faculty of teachers all work towards the same goal, which is to inspire and challenge their students to enjoy the world of music.
