The city of Dublin will once again be celebrating harvest time, and it has planned festivities to mark the occasion.
The Harvest Fair will see the rustic building and other sites at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museums play host to the 2016 Harvest Fair. To add to the celebration, there will be live music in the Hay Barn, hay wagon rides pulled by a tractor, freshly made caramel apples, hot apple cider, pies, and popcorn. A variety of local vendors will have displays set up, and both the Murray schoolhouse and Kolb House will be open for tours by the public.
A special set of activities have been planned for the kids. They will be able to take part in making pie, churning butter, trying their hand at doing laundry using a washboard, panning for gold, and making dolls from cornhusks. There will also be face painting and a chance to play on the haystacks.
Admission to the fair is free of charge, and wristbands that allow children to take part in the hands-on activities priced at $5 each. Items like this can be produced by a Print company that also provides Graphic Design Services.
All those who are interested in learning more about the Harvest Fair, which has been scheduled to take place on October 15 at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museums, can do so by visiting the Dublin city website.
