Dublins water supply makes the grade

Those who live in the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) will now be able to make use of a resource that will give them confidence in the safety of their water supply.

In a report prepared by the district for the year 2015, it was shown that the water that was delivered to its customers in that year once again was able to meet all of the federal and state safety standards. This has been the case for many years.

In order to prepare the report, data was collected during thousands of quality tests performed on the water by the Zone 7 Water Agency and the DSRSD. It was able to meet or exceed the standards that had been set for the 100 contaminants for which they are required to test.

Completed Copies of the final report can be found online, and they will also be mailed out to anyone who requests one. Items such as this can be prepared by a company that provides digital Copying Services. All customers in the area serviced by the DSRSD will receive a summary in their May or June bill. It will either be included in the envelope with the paper bill, or added as an attachment for those who use paperless billing.

Anyone who would like to view the document can visit the DSRSD website.
