Tri-Valley CAREs will be hosting a holiday party to thank all of its members, including those from Dublin, for all they do to help promote a healthy environment, as well as peace and justice in their communities and the larger world beyond.
The event will feature food, fun and friendship. The members of its Board of Directors will be preparing an assortment of dishes, and there will also be a variety of beverages to enjoy, as well as games and other activities.
The evening will also showcase the winning entries in the organization’s Youth Video Contest. There will be preview screenings of the top entries, and the winners will be presented with cash prizes. Those who come out will have an opportunity to meet the young people who made the videos and speak with them about their work and the inspiration behind it. A printer will be able to graphic design to supply uniquely crafted certificates and awards for those who have been selected as the winners of a contest such as this.
The Tri-Valley CAREs Member Appreciation and Holiday Party will be held in community room A and B of the Livermore Main Library on December 7 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Members are invited to drop in at any time during the event, and more information can be found by visiting its website.
