Dublin to wrap up small business summer school
Summer school is in session for Dublin’s small business sector, with the fifth installment in a series of workshops coming in late August.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce has set the date for the fifth offering in its “Small Business Summer Series”. It will be focused on the importance of succession planning and workplace safety, and it is being offered at no cost to the registrants.
The class will cover various aspects of succession planning, and how doing so can protect a business and its employees as they head into the future. Workplace safety will also be part of the discussion, and there will be time for questions. Seats may be reserved in advance. Funding for the function has been provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration, as well as the Alameda County Supervisor.
Many business owners welcome the opportunity to add some new items to their personal skillset, and attending a workshop gives them the opportunity to do this. Handouts and other learning materials can be prepared for an educational activity by local print shops.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 6300 Village Parkway, will open its succession planning and workplace safety workshop at 4:00 pm next Thursday, August 22. A registration link is available on the Chamber’s website for anyone interested in taking part.
