Dublin is a city with a storied past, and a walk that will visit a local cemetery will tell its tales by visiting one of its historic graveyards.
Dublin Historic Cemetery will soon be welcoming flashlight tours led by a docent, with spooky tales from the city’s past told along the way. Participants will start every 30 minutes on their scheduled dates. Tour are intended for those age 8 and up, although any that depart after 9:00 pm will be for older teens and adults only.
The docent will tell stories of some of the ghosts said to lurk in the community, with both recent and older tales shared. It will make a stop at the Kolb House and also Old. St. Raymond Church.
A ghost walk or other historically themed activity may require decor with a period look and feel. A banner printing company can lend a hand, and can craft items can help to build the atmosphere desired for a particular event.
The Ghosts of Dublin cemetery flashlight tours will be taking a spooky step back in time on October 20 and 21, which are a Friday and Saturday. The sign-up page can be found on the function’s online listing. Registrants will meet up at the middle of the park located at the Sunday School Barn.
