What's Happening in Dublin, CA…

Dublin sets dates for holiday fun

Dublin has merriment in store for the 2024 holiday season, and at least two of the offerings have been planned with kids in mind.

The city has organized a Breakfast with Santa morning, and it also has a mailbox set up where kids can drop off letters to the Big Guy in Red. There are also lots of all-ages activities on the local agenda as well.

The breakfast will see parents, children, and the young at heart treated to a hearty morning meal of pancakes served alongside sausages, fruit, juice, and coffee. Santa will make his grand entrance and will pose for photos, and there are three different seating times to allow as many as possible to be accommodated.

Dublin’s younger residents who would like to send a letter to The Jolly Old Elf can drop theirs off at the mailbox set up at City Hall. The mail will be sent directly to the North Pole. Each child is reminded to include their name, address, and wish list so Santa can write back. The letters must be dropped off by Friday, December 13 to receive a response. A poster printing company can prepare signage to use during a themed event or activity.

The city of Dublin has scheduled its Breakfast with the Big Guy in Red for Saturday, December 7 at the Shannon Community Center. The mailbox will be open from Monday, November 25 to Friday, December 13.
