Dublin set to welcome spring

Dublin Heritage Park and Museums will be greeting spring in high style, and it has issued an invitation to the public to come and join in the celebration.

The people who come to the party will be treated to freshly picked spring vegetables right from the garden, and there will also be live music to enjoy and an assortment of other activities. Experts will be on hand to share gardening tips and tricks, and the kids can hop on the wagon for a hayride, practice milking a faux cow, and work in the garden. The adults can browse through the different displays set up by vendors from the local area, or sip a cup of tea while they listen to the light music playing in the Spring Tea Cottage. The tea will be priced at $2 for a cup.

Admission to the event will be free, and wristbands that allow the wearer to participate in the activities will be $5 each.

The organizers are seeking local vendors and businesses that may be interested in either acting as a sponsor for the event or taking part themselves. Information about this can be obtained by contacting Monique Sanchez at 925-556-4544 or Stephanie Mein at 925-556-4508. A printer will be able to provide items such as premium Business Cards to any company that will be taking part in an event like this.

The spring celebration has been planned for May 6 at the Heritage Park and Museum. Additional information can be found on the community’s website.
