The city of Dublin will be hosting its annual Harvest fair this October, and a call has gone out to vendors who may be interested in taking part.
The events will feature something for people of all ages. There will be live music, hayrides, a children’s play haystack to climb, and there will also be a wide variety of food available for purchase.
Both the 1850s Murray School House and the 1910 Kolb House will be open for tours, and the kids can try their hand at panning for gold, calf roping, churning butter, making corn husk dolls, and making apple pie. Banners produced by a printer can be used to decorate events such as this.
An assortment of opportunities are available for vendors who produce arts and crafts, sell antiques, offer food, or provide entertainment. The city has created applications for those who are interested in setting up shop for the day, and has made these available, along with further information for food vendors who plan on preparing cooked food on site.
The Dublin Harvest Fair will take place at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museum on October 15. It will run from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Admission is free, with hands-on activity wristbands available for purchase at a price of $5 each. More information can be found on the Dublin city website.
