Residents of Dublin have been issued an invitation to lend their unique skills and talents to an assortment of volunteer opportunities that will be offered to them as part of Dublin Pride Volunteer Day.
The event will include several different projects, and the public can choose the one that is of the most interest to them. As a way of thanking them for their work, both a light breakfast and lunch will be served to those who come out to lend a helping hand.
The projects that will be on offer for the day include cleaning and planting on Dublin Unified School District campuses, assisting with the food drive at local grocery stores, beatifying one of the community’s 19 parks, cleaning up creeks and building a community garden in the Parks Reserve Forces and Training Area.
