Dublin resident completes personal quest

A Dublin resident has completed one of his ‘bucket list’ items, and his efforts have attracted the attention most of the people in town.

Mike Beckwith, who moved to the area from the Central Valley, has always enjoyed running and has already taken part in many marathons and races. Taking a page from twin brother, who cycled down every street in his Stockton home, he decided to run down each street in Dublin, which all together cover a total of 212 miles.

According to Beckwith, he thought that doing so would give him an opportunity to have some fun while getting to know his new home and neighbors a little bit better. He noted that many times, people would stop and talk with him, and he met a lot of people that way. A banner printing firm can create a banner and other decorations that can be placed along his route to let him know he is been an inspiration to others.

His efforts to complete his quest have drawn plenty of attention, and many people have cheered him on. Even the mayor, who is currently away on a visit to China, has joined in with the rest. He is an avid runner, and expressed his delight at Beckwith enjoying the area in this way, and congratulated him for doing so.
