Residents of Dublin have been offered an opportunity to help those in need this holiday season, and the organizers of the 2017 Warm Wishes Gift Drive are hoping the community will once again be generous in its support.
The gift drive, which is coordinated by the city, has been arranged so that those who are interested in participating will find it simple to show their support. Anyone who would like to help is invited to come to the Dublin Civic Center, the Dublin Senior Center or the Shannon Community Center, where they can choose a gift tag that will represent a holiday wish from one of their neighbors in need of a helping hand.
Once they have made their selection, the person who wants to help is asked to purchase and wrap the item requested, attach the tag, and drop it off at one of the three locations mentioned above. The gifts will then be collected and delivered to the recipients to help make their holidays a little bit brighter. Holiday Cards, Banners, and other festive items for an event like this can be both designed and then printed by an area Print company.
Anyone who is interested in taking part in this gift drive is asked to drop off their contribution by no later than December 8 so that it can be handed out in time for the holidays. Anyone who would like more information has been asked to call 925-833-6645.
