Dublin feline fans to enjoy springtime cat show

An all-breed cat show that will also welcome household pets will be giving the Dublin area a fun way to welcome spring, presented by the Crow Canyon Cat Club.

Space in Building A at the Alameda County Fairgrounds has been reserved for the “Cats in the Garden” show, and it will run for two days. The last day to submit an entry for a cat or kitten is March 28 at midnight, and the fee depends upon which sort of registration is being made. Linda Ahrens will be the Entry Clerk for the weekend.

The public is welcome to attend the event, and while they do, they will be able to view a variety of feline breeds and learn more about cat care and how a show operates. Rosettes and ribbons will be presented to the top entries in a variety of categories. The venue is heated and accessible to those who require a mobility device, and food will be available for purchase.

A poster printing company will be able to lend a hand in spreading the word about a function like this to the public.

The “Cats in the Garden” show weekend will be held on April 2 and 3. Its website offers information that may be helpful to those who plan on registering for the competition.
