Succulents are plants with fleshy leaves that tend to be easy to care for, and they will be the stars of the show for a Dublin event that will treat mom to an afternoon of crafting.
The Bloom and Bond Mother's Day activity will be welcoming moms and their adult children for a planting session planned for Longevity Wines. The attendees will be preparing planters that feature corks as decorative elements, and all materials will be provided.
While the ticketholders sip on their complimentary glass of wine, The Succulent Experience’s Michelle will teach them how to prepare and plant their heart-shaped succulent garden. They can choose to keep their creation or gift it to someone they love, and tips for caring for these mini gardens will be supplied. Anyone who would like to purchase some light bites will be able to do so, and tickets are $65 each.
A planting or other class that offers hands-on fun can be a welcome gift idea for a mom or someone else special. Sheets that offer plant tips and other advice can be prepared by Stationery printers and handed out on the day.
The Bloom and Bond Mother’s Day workshop will run from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 12. It is set for 2271 South Vasco Road in Livermore.
