The Dublin area will soon be playing host to an event that will give the public a chance to find out more about the field of firefighting, and several fire departments will be participating.
The expo has been planned so that it will offer an introduction to careers in firefighting, and the members of the public who attend will be able to gather information, meet with recruiters, and find out if they have the mental and physical endurance it takes to do the job.
The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 am, and those who are interested are advised to arrive promptly so that they will have time to visit all the different displays. Firefighting equipment will be on hand so the attendees can get a closeup look at it, and free refreshments will be served.
