An event has been planned that will give Dublin shutterbugs an opportunity to brush up on their night photography skills.
Mike’s Camera will be hosting a three-part seminar that will give those who participate tips and tricks they can use to get high-quality shots after the sun goes down. It will begin with lecture style instruction, which will be complemented by a hands-on photo session at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts. During the third and final session, the students will have an opportunity to have a critique of their work, which will be displayed in an instore mini-gallery, and they will also be presented with a matted Print of their best submission.
The course will cover the settings for long exposure and night photos, utilizing existing artificial light to produce different effects, using the bulb mode setting and using long exposure photography. Participants are asked to bring along a camera that has manual settings, both telephoto and wide-angle lenses, batteries, a tripod, memory card, a flashlight, and also a light jacket. Promotional Pens and Notepads can be prepared to give to each person who participates in an activity such as this.
September 28 has been selected as the stat date for this activity, and the ticket price starts at $143 each. It will be held at Mike’s Camera in Dublin, and more details can be found on the store’s website.
