This September, the Dublin area will be enjoying a soul food feast, and it will offer the look and feel of an old-fashioned barbecue cookout.
The festivities will combine food and music in a weekend the organizers hope will attract a lot of attention. An assortment of R&B and performers from other musical genres will be showing off their vocal talents, and all ages are encouraged to participate.
The guests at the festival will be able to choose from a wide selection of the food trucks rolling in, and everything from appetizers to dessert will be available. A vendor market is also in the works, and a selection of merchandise printed with the function’s Logo Design will be on offer. The host for the celebration will be Chef Milly, who earned fame on “Hell’s Kitchen.”
Admissions to the festival is $45.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids, and parking is on offer at $15.00 a spot. Both days are scheduled to run from 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm, and it will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
This celebration of soul food will be getting the fall season off to a fun start on the September 17 and 18 weekend. Its Patch listing provides additional details for anyone interested in finding out more about the event.
