Dublin asked to support ALS fundraiser
A Dublin area event will be helping to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and it has been planned to appeal to country music fans.
The Taste of Country “Bite Night” will combine music with food at the Blackhawk Auto Museum. At least 12 area eateries will have dishes in the mix, and these will be accompanied by pours of Darcie Kent estate wines.
Along with the food and wine, guests at the celebration will be treated to a three-hour live concert. Several Nashvile recording artists and other performers will be entertaining the crowd, and both single and table tickets are available. A sponsorship program is in place for any companies that would like to go the extra mile, and while they enjoy themselves, the attendees will be helping to fund research for ALS, a nerve cell disease that impacted individuals including physicist Steven Hawking and baseball player Lou Gehrig.
Marketing a concert or other fundraiser can be a snap with assistance from local poster printing companies. They can offer a range of services, including graphic design, and these can be used to prepare an assortment of materials that really grab the public’s attention.
A Taste of Country will be serving up food and fun with purpose on Friday, September 27. The festivities will begin at 5:00 pm, and tickets start at $129. The dress code is country casual.
