A Dublin area program has asked people to become “Secret Santas” for kids in the community who otherwise may not have a happy holiday season.
A bus will be pulling up to the parking lot in front of The Cheesecake Factory located at 1 Stoneridge Mall Road in Pleasanton, and the goal is to fill it up with new, unwrapped toys to distribute to kids in need. To help build community interest in the toy drive, a special celebration is in the works, and it will be a family friendly celebration.
Before they do their holiday gift buying, members of the public can pay a visit to the KKIQ tent, which will be set up at the Stuff the Bus site. Here, they can pick up printed lists of the donations that are most needed, as well as an event flyer, and these are the sorts of items that can be prepared for a community function by Print shops.
Starting at 3:00 pm, families are invited to be a part of the holiday party, which will feature face painting, crafts for the kids, and a coco bar. The celebration will wrap up at 7:00 pm.
This year’s Toys for Tots Stuff the Bus toy drive will be collecting donations on December 6 at the Stoneridge Shopping Center. They can be dropped off from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm.
