Dublin residents will soon have an opportunity to browse for some bargains while, at the same time, help local pets and feral or stray animals in need of medical treatment.
Paws in Need will be taking part in The Bridges Annual Garage Sale, and there will be plenty of bargains to be had, with everything from kitchenware to toys, clothing, jewelry, and pet items available. Donations of gently used items are being accepted at locations in Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and San Ramon, but people are asked to not drop off large furniture pieces, televisions, or electronics.
Monies raised during the sale will help the organization in its efforts to provide emergency and other medical treatment for feral, stray, and pet animals, which can keep them from being euthanized. It also helps control the population of cats and dogs through its spay and neuter program. Poster printing can be used to create marketing materials for a community-based fundraising event such as this.
The donation events will be held on April 22nd from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, while the garage sale itself will take place on April 29th at 9505 Velvet Leaf Circle in San Ramon. A full listing of the drop off points, as well as additional details about the sale and Paws in Need can be found on its website.
