An event has been planned for the Dublin area that will serve as a fundraiser for the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), and the public is invited to show its support.
ARF will be hosting Animals on Broadway, which will celebrate the close ties between pets and their people. It will kick off with a one-mile walk, which is open to both humans and their animal companions. Those who are interested in lending a hand can sign up on their own or enter as part of a team.
Once the walk is over, the public can visit the vendor fair, which will have displays and activities set up courtesy of local merchants and service providers. There will be games, entertainment, a Kids Zone, raffles, demonstrations, and more. A special section will be dedicated to the Pet Wellness Fair, where people can learn all sorts of information and tips for keeping their furry, scaly, or feathery friend healthy and happy.
Those who are looking for a new animal companion can visit the ARF Adoption Mobile, where they will hopefully find a new friend who is looking for a loving forever home. A company that crafts ad specialties will be able to custom design an assortment of items that can be given out as swag during a function such as this.
All of this will be taking place in Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek on May 20. Further details can be found on the event’s Patch listing.
