The city of Dublin is joining with Live Healthy America to empower residents focus on their health.
This nationwide, online, wellness program will offer motivational techniques and education to encourage residents to become as healthy as they can through a series of wellness challenges that are individually customized.
The program encourages individuals to work together with their family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to create healthy lifestyle habits, improve their physical activity, and keep tracks on their nutrition in order to lose weight.
Begun in 2001, Live Healthy America is a nonprofit program funded by the Richard O. Jacobson foundation and the Iowa Sports Foundation. Their goal is to make the public more aware of obesity and the health problems that are associated with being overweight. They provide a variety of tools, technology, and resources that will help people to achieve wellness in their lives.
The program has donated in excess of $500,000 to nonprofit organizations to enable them to provide wellness programs to their local communities. They also work with corporations and organizations to bring wellness information to their employees.
In 2009, the company partnered with Navigate Wellness to help organizations make lasting and positive lifestyle changes. Local Print companies are a good resource to use when trying to create application Forms for a campaign like this.
Dublin’s challenge begins March 17, and will continue through May 25. Teams are made up of 2 – 10 people. The cost is $5 for the first 250 participants. Residents can join today be entering the code LHDUBLIN on the city website.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Print
