Public invited to wish the Marines a happy birthday

The public is invited to help celebrate the 241st Birthday of the United States Marine Corps by attending the Marine Corps Ball in Clovis.

To help mark the occasion, the tradition of cutting the cake will take place, which is held to symbolize the corps traditions being passed along from one generation to another. It will be performed by special guests Marines of Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, Detachment A. Along with the cake, there will be a formal ball with music provided by Tortilla Soup, and the Guest of Honor Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North will be on hand to meet with the crowd. A Stationery printing company can produce custom designed formal printed Invitations for delivery to special guests of an event such as this.

Formal attire, such as a dress military uniform, black tie and tuxedo, suit and tie, or formal style ball gown are required to be worn by all of the guests. Photo packages will be available for purchase by anyone who wishes to have one.

The ball will take place at Clovis’s P-R Farms on November 10, starting at 6:00 pm. The ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 7:00 pm, so all those who plan on attending are asked to be there before that time.

Both tickets and further information can be found on the Fresno Marine Corps Ball Eventbrite page.
