An event is planned for Clovis that will give people a chance to lace up their running shoes and have a fun time while raising money to help local seniors.
The Clovis Memorial Run is open to people of all ages and abilities. Whether a participant wants to walk, run, or roll, there is something for everyone. There will be a 5km walk or run, a 2km walk, and also a kids’ run, along with a seniors’ walk or roll. For those who take part, there will be a pancake breakfast, and a raffle will be held as well.
Another part of the day’s activities will be a resource fair, where veterans and seniors can learn more about different service providers that are available to them.
There is no charge for either veterans or currently serving military members to join if they do so by May 19. The entry fee for others is between $15 and $30. This includes a shirt, goodie bag, the breakfast, and ribbons as well. These, and many other Promotional Products, can be produced for events such as this by a printing company. Funds raised through the event will be used to support the Clovis Senior Center.
