Date set for Clovis Night Out

Clovis is getting ready to celebrate all that makes it a great place to call home, and everyone in the community is on the guestlist for the festivities.

Clovis Night Out, which is part of a nationwide initiative to bring law enforcement and other first responders together with the public they serve, is scheduled for late September. It will be held at David Donald Park and has fun on its agenda.

This year will be the 13th for the annual gathering, and local vendors have been invited to set up shop. There will be displays of first responder vehicles and other equipment, and bounce houses and live music are also in the works. A drone light show will take place after dusk. It is anticipated that a crowd numbering in the thousands will be on hand for the party.

To help make the celebration a true community builder, the planners are interested in hearing from local small businesses that would like to join the fun. They are welcome to submit a vendor application online. Custom booth decor and other marketing materials for a company can be prepared by a poster printing company.

The 13th annual Clovis Night Out will bring neighbors together for an evening of fun and friendship on Saturday, September 21. Potential vendors can contact the organizers at tyw@cityofclovis.com.
