The 38th Annual Clovisfest Balloon Fun Fly is coming to Clovis, with food, live entertainment and hot air balloon rides.
The Fun Fly Fair will be held 8:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 in Old Town Clovis. The hot air balloons take flight at 6:00 am on the rodeo grounds. Guests canenjoy hot cinnamon rolls as the balloons are inflated for lift off at 7:00 am. The Rodeo Grounds are located between Herndon and Shaw Avenues on Clovis Avenue.
The festival begins at 8:00 am in Old Town, located between 3rd and 7th Streets on Pollasky Avenue, with a family carnival for all ages, a beer garden for the older folks, and 250 food and craft booths. Car fanciers will appreciate the All Valley Car Show, with cars from all decades restored to their heyday.
Saturday’s bands performing at the beer garden include Terry at 9:00 am, Whisky Row at 10:00 am, and Nothin’ But Fun at 3:00 pm. Sunday’s musical entertainment features 51 Aces at noon and Zombie 56 at 2:30 pm.
Last year’s event drew more than 70,000 visitors and even more are expected this year. The Valley Animal Shelter and local rescue groups will have dogs and cats available for adoption. To raise awareness of both the event and the animal shelter, banner printing would be an excellent way grab attentions, as would flyer printing for any events or causes like this.
Admission and parking are free. For more information, call the Clovis Chamber of Commerce at (559) 299-7363.
